Are you a face-to-face counselling organisation and want to move some of your f2f service online to attract more clients or to engage with your clients in what is becoming the norm and for many a preference?
Are you a children and young people’s organisation and want to start offering your support online in a way that directly speaks with young people but are worried about working with risk as in self harm and suicide ideation and safeguarding in Cyberspace?
Then my training may just help.
I am an experienced trainer of many years in the fields of Children & Young People and in particular Children & Young People engaging Online/Social Media. I have presented at national conferences – United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Association of Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO) on working online with children and young people and have had two articles published specifically regarding young people and suicide ideation in cyberspace. I was also a member of the Expert Reference Group for BACP which drew up the clinical competencies of “Working at a Distance”.
Please contact me and we can discuss your particular organisational requirements – half day through to one day or two days are available on a range of topics related to Children, Young People, Risk, Safeguarding and Social Media.
